Welcome to DDH Brewing. We make ciders, meads, and variations of both. Each post is a batch and contains basic information regarding ingredients, methods, and dates of various activities associated with the brew. Enjoy!

QC Laboratory

With the gradual but steady acquisition of laboratory equipment I think we finally have enough to qualify as a bona fide QC lab so this post will be to inventory our lab equipment and highlight the lab staff including the new Lab Manager, Jim “The Gorilla” Demko. During our most recent adventure Jim most impressively and expertly trained, over saw, and delegated testing of 6 batches in one evening (without a single OOS). He also did not hesitate to second guess his employee and make them retest until the correct results were obtained. I don’t know where he got his training, but Mr. Jimbo earned the title of Lab Manager with that superior and condescending leadership style…He was so authentic and true to the role that I almost felt like I was back at my previous employer.
